Susan Wolff Murphy: Managing Editor
Susan Wolff Murphy is a Professor of English at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, in Corpus Christi, TX.
She is Associate Dean of College of Liberal Arts and School of Arts, Media, and Communication. A long-time WPA, she teaches courses in writing and rhetoric in the FY Writing Program, the undergraduate writing studies concentration, and the MA English graduate program.
Glenn Blalock: Managing Editor and Co-Founder
Glenn Blalock retired from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2020. He is transitioning into retirement even as he continues to work on CompPile.

Whitney Jordan Adams
Whitney Jordan Adams earned her Ph.D. from Clemson University and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of English, Rhetoric, and Writing at Berry College in Mt. Berry, Georgia. Her classes focus on community engagement, anti-racist pedagogies, digital rhetoric, and rhetoric for social activism and change.
She has presented her work at meetings of the Rhetoric Society of Europe, the Rhetoric Society of America, the Memory Studies Association, and the Conference on College Composition and Communication. Her work has appeared in The Journal of the Kenneth Burke Society and Papers in Arts and Humanities, among others. Additionally, a recent book chapter appears in Reconstructing Southern Rhetoric, published by University Press of Mississippi.
Bhushan Aryal
Bhushan Aryal is an Assistant Professor of English at Delaware State University, in Dover, DE, where he teaches first-year rhetoric and composition as well as advanced writing courses. He also serves as Director of the University’s Composition and Speech Program. Born and raised in western Nepal, Bhushan received his Ph.D. in English from West Virginia University in 2018.
His research interests converge at the intersection of composition curriculum at HBCUs, digital writing, writing across the curriculum, South Asian/American rhetoric, and constitutional rhetoric.
Jessica Jorgenson Borchert
Jessica Jorgenson Borchert is an Associate Professor of English at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS.
She teaches courses in professional writing and rhetoric and serves as Director of Writing across the Curriculum.
She has presented her work at meetings of CCCC, CWPA, CEA, Computers and Writing, and Popular Culture Association/American Culture Association.
Bruce Horner
Bruce Horner is Endowed Chair in Rhetoric and Composition at the University of Louisville, where he teaches courses in composition, composition theory and pedagogy, and literacy studies.
His recent books include Rewriting Composition: Terms of Exchange (Southern Illinois UP, 2016), Economies of Writing: Revaluations in Rhetoric and Composition (Utah State UP, 2017), co-edited with Brice Nordquist and Susan Ryan, and Crossing Divides: Exploring Translingual Writing Pedagogies and Programs (Utah State UP, 2017), co-edited with Laura Tetreault, and winner of the Modern Language Association 2016-17 Mina P. Shaughnessy Biennial Book Prize.
Lorie S. Jacobs
Lorie S. Jacobs is Assistant Professor of Writing at University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she teaches first-year and professional writing courses.
Lorie is the Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines Coordinator, advancing professional development in the teaching of writing campus-wide. She also Co-Directs the First-Year Writing program.
Lorie’s research interests include discipline- and profession-specific writing curriculum, labor issues in academia, first-year composition, and student persistence.
Tara Wood
Tara Wood is an associate professor of English and Writing Program Administrator at the University of Northern Colorado, where she teaches courses in composition and rhetoric.
Her work has appeared in several essay collections and journals, including College Composition and Communication, Composition Studies, Open Words: Access and English Studies, Kairos, and JAC.
She is the co-chair of the Committee on Disability Issues in College Composition and past chair of the Standing Group on Disability Studies within CCCC.
