Writing@UW supports writers and teachers of writing at UW Seattle through programming that cultivates core academic skills, facilitates lifelong learning, and builds personal and professional writing identities. Some of its signature work includes its Directed Self-Placement model, Writing Pathways, which curates information about writing courses and resources for all incoming students; and its Faculty Fellowship for W course instructors wishing to learn more about critical and multimodal appproaches to teaching writing. We also maintain a comprehensive website that centralizes policy, guidelines, events, and other resources around writing at UW Seattle.
