Abstract:áThis workshop described leading-edge work in two major movements in higher education: Communication Across the Curriculum (CAC) and Learning Communities (LC). Faculty in disparate fields can work together to connect courses students normally experience in isolation. The LC described can serve as a model for other “content” and “communication” collaborations.
