Abstract:áThe presenter shared experiences from the Oregon Writing Project Summer Workshop including writing as learning, making better writersànot better papers, expectations of ESL writers, and whether the best teachers of writers are writers themselves. The presenter’s plans for changing writing assignments and grading practices and overall perspectives of writers were described.
