TextGenEdáShares Sixteen New Assignments

A little over four months after the publication of TextGenEd: Teaching with Text Generation Technologies, we’re thrilled to highlight another 16 open-access assignments that enable teachers to integrate text generation technologies into their courses and respond to this crucial moment. Here, we publish the first of our planned semi-annual addendums: Continuing Experiments is a sustained response to the constant change that is built into teaching writing with text generation technologies. Explore all of the January 2024 experiments.

TextGenEd Seeks New Contributors

The editors of TextGenEd, published in the WAC Repository, invite submissions for writing assignments using a range of text generation technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude.ai, Markov chains, various Python libraries, etc.) to be included in a new, "Continuing Experiments" section of TextGenEd: Teaching with Text Generation Technologies. The work of teaching writing is a constant process of experimentation, revision, and collaboration, particularly when teaching with technologies that shift and evolve quickly.

WLN Joins the Clearinghouse
