Approaches to Lifespan Writing Research: Generating an Actionable Coherence, edited by Ryan J. Dippre and Talinn Phillips, builds on the three themes that emerged from the 2018 inaugural lifespan writing conference—identity, society, and theory—to further the study of writing through the lifespan.
Double Helix Announces Call for Submissions
Double Helix has released the call for submissions on the topic, Critical Thinking and Writing in the Age of Pandemics. The journal editors invite Reports from the Field and scholarly Notes related to the effects of coronavirus—campus closures, social distancing, courses moved online, etc.—on pedagogy related to critical thinking and writing.

IWAC 2020 is Postponed
The Association for Writing Across the Curriculum and the organizing group for the 2020 International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference have postponed the conference and the WAC Summer Institute, which was scheduled to precede the conference. The conference will not be held on August 4-7, 2021.
WAC Publication and Achievement Awards Announced
