Writing Across the Curriculum at Landmark College seeks to promote a college- wide culture in which the study of writing and the development of writing practices are understood to be valuable and essential for communication, thinking, learning, constructing meaning, achieving goals, and fostering awareness of self and others. We provide resources and opportunities for conversation, consultation, and support to faculty who use writing in their courses, to staff who support student writers, and to students working to become effective, confident, and flexible writers and readers in a variety of contexts.

We are located within the Landmark College School of Education, which houses the Writing and Education curriculum, but we work across divisions and departments at the College, and in collaboration with our Drake Center for Academic Support and the office of Advising.

Our neurodiverse student body anchors and guides our mission, as we work to make our writing curriculum and pedagogy accessible, meaning, and supportive for all. Our approach to meeting the needs of neurodivergent student writers also, in our view, provides a framework for facilitating equity and inclusion more broadly.
